Appendix 1 “Methodological recommendations for organizing the educational process in technical and professional organizations, post-secondary education in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection during the pandemic” paragraph 15 state the following content:
"15. Current control, intermediate and final certification of college students are carried out in accordance with the Appendix 2 to the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 18 March 2008 Year No. 125 “Model rules for conducting ongoing progress monitoring, intermediate and final certification of students for organizations of secondary, technical and professional, post-secondary education".
The final certification of students in medical education programs is carried out in accordance withBy the rules assessment of knowledge and skills of students in medical education programs, approved by order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 23 April 2019 year No. RK DSM-46.
Current progress monitoring, intermediate and final certification of students are carried out in accordance with the working curriculum and training programs.
Educational organizations are independent in choosing forms, the procedure and frequency of ongoing monitoring of progress and conducting intermediate certification of students.
Current monitoring of progress and intermediate certification for students using DOT can be represented by various types of educational work (multimedia objects, practical task, abstract, creative work). In this case, the type of educational work is determined by the teacher.
The level of complexity of current and intermediate certification tasks must correspond to the material covered and be accessible to students.
The teacher is responsible for the development of test tasks for intermediate certification, leading the discipline (module).
15-1) Current control of students is carried out in the form of assessing the level of their fulfillment of daily tasks, issued by teachers for the date and topic of the material for each discipline/module.
Conducting ongoing monitoring of progress can be carried out through:
1) direct communication between student and teacher online using telecommunications means (Zoom; WhatsApp etc.);
2) automated testing complexes (Рlatonus, Google Classroom, Moodle, EduPage and others);
3) checks of written individual assignments (issuing assignments by e-mail to students, messengers: WhatsApp, Telegram and others).
Forms of current control can be different and depend on the content of the material mastered. (multimedia objects, abstract, practical tasks, creative task and others).
15-2) Recommended types of intermediate certification when using DOT:
- testing using automated test systems with the ability to limit task execution time (Рlatonus, Google Classroom, Moodle, EduPage and others);
- implementation of an individual project (on-line, оff-line);
- practical, practical (on-line, оff-line);
- taking the exam online (practical).
practical, practical, practical and creative tasks are developed in advance by the educational organization and posted on the distance learning portal for public access.
When testing using automated test systems with the ability to limit time, the student enters the course control page at a predetermined time, where is the on-line test with short instructions located?. The student answers questions, online and in real time.
The grade can be assigned automatically or by the teacher.
When conducting certification online via video conference (Zoom programs, WhatsApp, Skype, others) the student sends work to the distance learning portal or email address.
When conducting intermediate certification off-line (practical, creative task, etc.) the student sends work at the specified time to the distance learning portal or email address.
Depending on the complexity and characteristics of the content, the intermediate certification can be carried out in an on-line format or postponed to a later date.
In educational organizations, those carrying out training in the profile “Art and Culture” in general education and general professional and special disciplines, intermediate certification is issued on the basis of annual assessments.
For artistic specialties in general professional disciplines, submitted to the examination session, intermediate certification is carried out in the form of review of work.
Performance criteria for intermediate certification for students in educational organizations, those carrying out training in the profile “Art and Culture” may have various types of educational work (testing, practical task, test, survey, etc.). The type of educational work is determined by the teacher and approved at a department meeting.
15-3) Final certification is carried out according to a predetermined schedule.
To conduct an exam/defense of diploma projects on-line in educational organizations, a final certification commission is created and approved by order of the director of the TVE organization no later than, less than a month before the start of the final assessment.
The final certification is carried out with mandatory identification of the student’s identity and constant monitoring by the final certification commission over compliance with the procedure and procedure for conducting the exam/defense of diploma projects.
Familiarization of students with the procedure for conducting exams/defending diploma projects is carried out by the TVE organization no less than 20 working days by email with confirmation of review.
According to the educational process schedule, A schedule of online consultations is posted on the Internet resource of the TVE organization, preliminary defense and defense of the graduation project, procedure for conducting online exams/defending diploma projects, order on admission of students to defend their diploma project and approved topics for diploma projects.
The TVET organization is holding a webinar for 3-5 working days before the start of the exam/thesis defense, during which the entire procedure for passing the exam/defending diploma projects is carefully and thoroughly explained, every step is worked out.
To defend a diploma project, the student prepares his work electronically, which will be presented in the “screen sharing” mode.
Defense of the thesis project takes place in the form of a presentation demonstration, which reflects the theme of the project, general characteristics, etc.. Total time to defend one student, including oral presentation and answers to additional questions, is no more than 15 minutes.
Connecting students and commission members to the video session is carried out for 1 an hour before the start of the defense of diploma projects.
The entire procedure for the examination/defense of diploma projects is recorded on video..
A student shows his ID card on the webcam before taking an exam/defending his thesis project.
Tickets can be issued in the program "random number generator". The technical secretary shows the ticket number in screen sharing mode to the student.
The student prepares to answer within the time established by the TVE organization, depending on the specifics of the exam and other conditions.
After completing the preparation of the answer, the student shows the answer sheet, and the secretary takes a screenshot of the screen, saves answers. The student answers questions (video recording is carried out).
Rating, resolution of controversial issues is carried out at the discretion of the TVE education organization independently. The results of the final certification are posted on the Internet resource of the educational organization.
When drawing up the decisions of the final certification commission, the protocols must record, that the final certification was carried out through DOT.
In educational organizations, carrying out training in the profile “Art and Culture”, taking into account the specifics of specialties and qualifications in individual disciplines, submitted for final certification, it is possible to assign an average grade based on the performance of the previous half of the current academic year and the creative characteristics of the graduate.
Final certification for qualification 0408013 Ballet dancer, 0408023 Dance ensemble artist by specialty 0408000 "Choreographic art" and 0410013 Circus artist by profession 0410000 “Circus art” is a combination of a number of conditions, including calculating the average grade based on the results of the previous half of the current academic year, recording of stage performance, provided to the certification commission, creative characteristics of the student and/or feedback from employers.
Defense of diploma projects (works) in educational organizations, those carrying out training in the profile “Art and Culture” is carried out taking into account the specifics of specialties and qualifications (providing a presentation and draft thesis in electronic format).Integration of the program of spiritual and moral education "Self-knowledge" into a single pedagogical process of the college.
